Worker Killed in Industrial Accident at Nicholas Meat LLC in Greene Township, PA

Clinton County, PA -- On December 4, 2018, an unnamed worker died after being struck by industrial equipment at a meat packing plant in Greene Township.

Officials say the accident happened around 4:30 p.m. at the Nicholas Meat LLC company warehouse on East Valley Road outside Loganton. The 32-year-old man, whose identity has not yet been released by authorities, was reportedly on an exit ramp leading from the building's basement when he was hit by a large forklift operated by another person.

The worker suffered a fatal head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said their investigation is continuing.
