Map of the Area
Despite the several days delay of releasing these reports, police have yet to give a clear account of what led to this terrible incident. This could just be prudence on their part, waiting to gather all crucial information before releasing more details. That said, over the years I’ve encountered too many incidents where police either took too long to finish their reports or simply didn’t know what actually happened.
After any fatal incident, those affected deserve to know what went wrong as soon as possible. As such, it’s always prudent to have an independent investigator look into the accident. With their efforts, those affected will either have a second professional account confirming what police say, or they’ll have a more thorough understanding of the incident than police have offered. Either way, given the seriousness of this particular incident, a private investigation may be necessary to ensure the victims and families affected by this crash get some clear answers.
