Del Valle, TX — November 28, 2017, a man sustained injuries resulting from an accident in which a forklift overturned along the highway.
Investigating officials from the Austin-Travis County Emergency services department indicated that the incident took place at around 2:30 p.m. near State Highway 71 and Richards Drive.
At this time, the specifics surrounding the accident aren’t entirely clear. Emergency responders arrived on the scene to find the operator of the forklift with critical injuries. They transported him to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center.
It’s unclear if this incident was a work related accident or not, though reports do say no other vehicles were involved. The factors leading up to the accident remain under investigation.
