One Hurt in Tanker-Truck Accident on the 5 Freeway in Los Angeles, CA

Los Angeles, CA -- A crash between a tanker-truck and a passenger car left an unidentified person with injuries Tuesday, July 18, 2017.

According to police officials, the crash took place around 9:30 p.m. in the Lincoln Heights area of Los Angeles. An Arco tanker-truck reportedly jackknifed on the 5 Freeway near the 10 interchange. The truck allegedly collided with a passenger car, leaving one person in the car hospitalized with undisclosed injuries.

The report mentioned no other injuries in the crash.

The investigation into the incident is currently underway.
