Two Hurt in Accident at E 4th & River Dr. in Davenport, IA

Davenport, IA -- A single-vehicle motorcycle crash in the area of Davenport, IA left two people with injuries Sunday, July 16, 2017.

The crash happened at E 4th and River Drive around 9:47 p.m. Police officials say the motorcycle was westbound on River Drive when for reasons unknown, it struck the curb.

The bike then lost control, subsequently crashing.

The male driver of the bike suffered non-life threatening injuries. His female passenger was left with life-threatening injuries.

The report made no mention of other injuries in the collision.

The official investigation into the incident is currently underway.

More information may be forthcoming as the investigation reaches its conclusion.
