Spanish Fork, UT: 3-Year-Old Boy Killed in Accident at 980 East and 1420 South

Spanish Fork, UT -- An unidentified 3-year-old boy was killed due to a collision between a pedestrian and a car Wednesday, July 19, 2017.

The collision took place near 980 East and 1420 South in Spanish Fork, Utah. It looks like the boy was riding a scooter when the neighbor backed out of the driveway, striking the boy. The collision claimed the life of the boy.

It's unclear what took place at this time.

Local officials are examining the details of the incident in an effort to determine the exact cause.
