Semi-Truck Driver Killed on Interstate 95 in Colleton Co., SC Accident

Colleton County, SC -- A crash in the area of Colleton County, SC claimed the life of an unidentified semi-truck driver Wednesday, July 19, 2017.

Though the details are scarce, it appears the victim's vehicle was driving along Interstate 95 around 5:30 a.m. Police haven't confirmed why, but it appears the semi-truck careened off the roadway, rolling down an embankment. The truck struck several trees, killing the unnamed driver. The report made no mention of other injuries.

The investigation into the crash is currently underway.

Further information may be forthcoming as the investigation concludes.
