Woman Injured in Truck Accident on 63rd Street in Kansas City, MO

Kansas City, MO -- An elderly woman was left with injuries in a two-vehicle car vs. dump truck collision in Kansas City, MO Tuesday, July 18, 2017.

The crash happened at 63rd Street and Hardesty Avenue. According to police officials, the female victim's vehicle was traveling near Hardesty Avenue around 10:10 a.m. For reasons unknown, the passenger car collided with a dump truck.

The 72-year-old occupant of the passenger car was left hospitalized, where she was last listed in critical condition.

The report made no mention of other injuries in the incident.

The official investigation into the incident is currently underway and may reveal more details as it concludes.
