Teen Girl Injured in Cliff-Diving Accident at Blue Pool in Sisters, OR

Sisters, OR -- An unidentified 17-year-old girl was injured due to a cliff-diving incident at Blue Pool in the area of Sisters, Oregon.

Police officials say the girl dived from about 30 to 35 feet, and struck a rock about 20 feet down. The unidentified teen reportedly landed in shallow water, suffering injuries to her hip. The teen was airlifted to a nearby hospital, where she was last listed in stable condition.

The exact cause of the incident is currently under investigation.

Early media reports provided no further information regarding the cliff-diving incident.
