One Hurt in Accident near 700 N. Main Street in San Angelo, TX

San Angelo, TX -- A two-vehicle crash in the area of San Angelo, Texas left one person with injuries Tuesday, July 18, 2017.

Police officials say a Silver Toyota and Kia were both eastboung on N. Main Street when the Kia attempted a turn. Though it's unclear why, the Toyota struck the curb, where it went across the lanes of traffic and struck the Kia. The Toyota then went on to crash with a utility pole.

The driver of the Toyota was taken to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries.

The report made no mention of other injuries in the crash.

Local officials are investigating the incident.
