Samantha Wolf Killed, Samarpal Khaira & Truck Passenger Injured in Accident in Athol, ID

Athol, ID -- A crash in the area of Athol, ID involving a passenger vehicle and a semi-truck claimed the life of 31-year-old Samantha Wolf and left 23-year-old Samarpal Khaira, and one other with injuries Saturday, July 15, 2017.

Local police officials say the victim's car was headed south on Highway 95. Though it's unclear why, the vehicle and an oncoming semi-truck collided head-on. Ms. Wolf, thought to be the only occupant in the car, was killed at the scene of the incident.

The driver of the truck, 23-year-old Samarpal Khaira, and an unnamed passenger in the sleeper cab, were left with injuries.

In an effort to determine the exact cause of the incident, local officials are investigating the crash.
