Michael D. Clark Killed in Accident in Calaveras Co, CA

Calaveras County, CA -- A crash involving a semi-truck claimed the life of 42-year-old Michael D. Clark Thursday, July 13, 2017.

The incident took place in Calaveras County, California on Highway 49 around 8:30 p.m. According to officials, the victim's truck was traveling north on 49 when the crash happened. It appears the vehicle descended on a grade, went off the highway, rolling up the highway.

Mr. Clark exited the truck when the truck tipped back onto the highway. The truck turned over onto its left side, and the trailer of the vehicle struck Mr. Clark.

Mr. Clark was killed at the scene of the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
