Sherry Carias Killed in Accident near Divide, CO

Divide, CO -- A single-vehicle crash near Divide, Colorado claimed the life of 50-year-old Sherry Carias Saturday, July 15, 2017.

According to reports, Ms. Carias' vehicle was headed south on Highway 67. At some point on the roadway, her vehicle went into a curve, began to rotate, veered off the road, and went airborne. The car then collided with a wire fence, rolled twice, and ejected Ms. Carias from within.

Police officials are investigating the details of the incident to determine the exact cause.

Preliminary press reports provided little information regarding the crash.

More information may be forthcoming as the investigation concludes.
