3 Injured in San Antonio, TX, Car Accident at Lp 1604 & Blanco

San Antonio, TX -- July 14, 2017, three people sustained injuries resulting from an accident in which two vehicles collided on Loop 1604.

Authorities from the San Antonio Police Department reported that the accident happened at around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of Loop 1604 and Blanco Road.

Investigating officials reported that two vehicles, a sedan and an SUV, were both traveling along the loop when they believe the sedan crashed into the SUV, causing both vehicles to lose control. They swerved off the roadway and overturned in a nearby ditch.

A woman in her 20s from the sedan as well as a man and a woman in their 40s from the SUV wee transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Their injuries were not specified.

Police didn't say if any charges or citations were filed. The exact cause of the accident has not yet been reported.
