Motorcyclist Injured in Laredo, TX, Car Accident on San Bernardo

Laredo, TX -- July 14, 2017, a man sustained injuries due to an accident in which a motorcycle and a car collided on San Bernardo Avenue.

According to preliminary details released by police officials, the accident happened in the afternoon hours of Friday at the intersection of San Bernardo Avenue and Calton Road.

Police investigators reported that a 21-year-old man riding a motorcycle was crossing through the intersection at around 3:00 p.m. For reasons not entirely clear, the motorcycle crossed paths with a car, resulting in a collision.

The motorcyclist was ejected from the vehicle, and he sustained a serious head injury as a result. EMS transported him to a nearby hospital for treatment. The other driver was not injured.

Police did not report any charges or citations following the crash. No further information is currently available.
