Tanner Poeschel, Harrison Smith Killed in Palo Pinto County, TX, Accident

Palo Pinto County, TX -- July 15, 2017, Tanner Poeschel and Harrison Smith were killed following an accident where two jet skis collided.

Sheriff's Deputies released details surrounding the fatal incident, which they say happened on the Palo Pinto Creek Reservoir at around 1:30 a.m.

Preliminary investigations indicate that 22-year-old Poeschel and 22-year-old Smith were at a lake house with a group of people. They both went out on the water with a pair of jet skis. Shortly afterward, a loud crash was heard.

Authorities found the two men along with the wreckage of their vehicles after they somehow collided. Both sustained fatal injuries and reportedly died at the scene.

The factors leading up to the crash are still under investigation at this time. No additional details have been released.
