Matthew Miller Killed in Train Accident in Tyrone, PA

Tyrone, PA -- A train vs. pedestrian collision left 22-year-old Matthew Miller dead Saturday, June 3, 2017 in Tyrone, PA.

Mr. Miller was walking along Route 453 and Plummer Hollow's Road around 8:20 p.m. According to the report, a Norfolk Southern train headed west, containing three locomotives towing 23 cars, crashed into Mr. Miller. The victim was declared dead at the scene of the incident.

Local officials are conducting the investigation into the deadly incident in an effort to determine the exact cause.
