Lowell Ingram Killed in Accident in Effingham, IL

Effingham, IL -- An incident at Pinnacle Foods in Effingham, Illinois claimed the life of 59-year-old Lowell Ingram Tuesday, June 6, 2017.

Media reports claim Mr. Ingram, for reasons unclear, was pinned beneath a loaded semi-truck trailer. Mr. Ingram was taken to HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital, and was then airlifted to a trauma center. According to officials, the victim became unstable en route to the trauma center.

Mr. Ingram was declared dead around 12:43 p.m.

The exact cause of the incident is yet to be determined.

Local officials are examining the details of the incident at this time in an effort to determine the cause of the incident.
