Truck Driver Killed in Accident on M-28 in Wakefield, MI

Wakefield, MI -- A semi-truck crash on M-28 near Agate Falls left an unidentified truck driver dead Friday, June 2, 2017 in Wakefield, Michigan.

Police say around 11:30 a.m., the dump truck occupied by the victim was headed east on the highway when the crash happened. The dump truck struck a guardrail, flipped over, killing the driver.

The driver's identity and exact cause of the crash are yet to be determined by authorities.

More information may be available as the official investigation into the deadly crash concludes.

There was no further information made available by the preliminary press release regarding the crash.
