Man Injured in San Antonio, TX, Hit-and-run Accident on Flores

San Antonio, TX -- June 4, 2017, a man sustained injuries due to an accident in which he was pinned between two vehicles by a hit-and-run driver.

According to initial reports released by the San Antonio Police Department, the incident took place at around 5:00 a.m. in the 2200 block of South Flores Street.

Police investigators reported that a man was standing near a vehicle parked along South Flores. In opposite lanes, an unidentified driver in an SUV attempted to make a U-turn. Somehow, the vehicle lost control and crashed into the parked vehicle, pinning the pedestrian between the two vehicles. The SUV driver then fled the scene.

Emergency services came to the scene and were able to transport the pedestrian to a nearby hospital for treatment.

At this time, the suspect driver has not yet been located. Investigations are ongoing.
