One Killed in Two-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 35 in Denton, TX

Denton, TX -- A two-vehicle collision in the area of Denton, Texas claimed the life of one person Sunday, June 4, 2017.

The report claims the victim's vehicle was disabled on Interstate 35 around 2:12 a.m. when for unclear reasons it was struck by a pickup truck. It looks like a patrol officer responded to the call, but was unable to reach the vehicle before it was struck. At this time, it appears the drivers of both vehicles were the lone occupants.

Local officials are currently conducting the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
