17-Year-Old Missing in Accidental Drowning near Colvin Park Marina in Collin Co., TX

Collin County, TX -- A drowning incident in the area of Collin County, Texas at Lake Lavon left an unidentified 17-year-old missing Sunday, June 4, 2017.

A 17-year-old victim was on a party boat with a church group jumping from the top deck when for unclear reasons he went under. It appears the teen was one of a group of fellow teens that were jumping from the boat into the water.

The report claims the teen is a good swimmer, but was not wearing a life vest when the incident happened.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Authorities are conducting the search for the missing teen at this time.
