Tiah Loggins, Stephen Keeton Killed in Decatur, AL, Car Accident

Decatur, AL -- June 1, 2017, Tiah Nicole Loggins and Stephen Anthony Keeton were killed, two were injured, after in accident where two cars crashed.

Preliminary reports indicated that the incident happened at around midnight along US Highway 31.

According to police investigators, a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 28-year-old Keeton was allegedly traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of US 31. As it did so, it crossed paths with an oncoming Dodge Durango driven by 27-year-old Loggins. Neither driver avoided in time, and a head-on collision occurred.

Both Loggins and Keeton suffered fatal injuries in the accident and died at the scene. Two people from Loggins's vehicle were taken to hospitals for treatment, one via helicopter.

Police have not yet indicated what factors contributed to the accident. Their investigations are ongoing.
