Larry Rhoades Killed, Tucker Skyler Injured in Washington County, MO, Accident

Washington County, MO -- May 29, 2017, Larry Rhoades was killed and Tucker Skyler was injured following a single-vehicle accident.

Missouri State Police officials responded to the accident scene at around 3:00 p.m. near the intersection of Dug Out Road and Highway 21.

According to initial reports, 19-year-old Skyler was driving a 1997 Pontiac Firebird in the southbound lanes of Highway 21. For reasons not made clear, the vehicle lost control, ran off the side of the road and crashed.

Due to the crash, both Skyler and his passenger, 19-year-old Rhoades, were transported to hospitals in serious conditions. Rhoades later died there.

At this time, the cause of the accident is still unclear. Investigations continue.
