Elizabeth Davis Killed in Jefferson, NH, 18-wheeler Accident

Jefferson, NH -- June 1, 2017, Elizabeth Davis was fatally injured due to an accident in which her vehicle and an 18-wheeler collided head-on.

The New Hampshire State Police reported that the accident took place in the morning hours of Thursday along US Highway 2.

Preliminary accident investigations indicated that 21-year-old Elizabeth Davis was traveling along the westbound lanes of the highway. In the opposite direction was an oncoming 18-wheeler. Going around a curve in the road, the two vehicles somehow crossed paths and crashed head-on.

As a result of the collision, Davis suffered fatal injuries. EMS officials pronounced her dead at the scene. The truck driver's condition wasn't given.

At this time, police have not determined the cause of the accident.
