Bicyclist Injured in Accident near 2800 San Jacinto Boulevard in Austin, TX

Austin, TX -- A collision between a passenger car and a bicyclist left an unidentified person with injuries Friday, May 2, 2017 in Austin, Texas.

The investigation into the incident revealed the incident happened near 2800 San Jacinto Boulevard around 2:45 a.m. It appears the ijured bicyclist was struck by a gold Lexus. The unidentified victim in this incident sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries in the incident.

The effort to determine what occurred is currently underway.
