One Killed in Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Accident on I-20 in Grand Prairie, TX

Grand Prairie, TX -- A collision between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian claimed the life of an unidentified teen Friday, May 2, 2017.

The report claims four teens were attempting to cross Interstate 20 early Friday morning when one of the teens was struck by a passing motor vehicle. It appears the deceased teen lost his flip flop, and in an attempt to retrieve it, was struck. He was first struck by an SUV, which then threw him into the other lane of traffic. It was then a semi-truck rolled over the teen.

The investigation into Friday morning's deadly crash is ongoing.
