Joshua Simmons Killed in Warrick County, IN, Motorcycle Accident

Warrick County, IN -- May 29, 2017, Joshua Simmons was fatally injured after an accident where his motorcycle and a car crashed on the highway.

Indiana State Troopers and Warrick County Sheriff's Deputies were called out to the accident scene, near the intersection of Highway 161 and Rockport Road, at around 7:30 p.m.

According to initial police investigations, 40-year-old Simmons was riding a motorcycle along the highway when, for reasons which police did not say, his vehicle crossed paths with an oncoming vehicle. This led to a collision, ejecting Simmons onto the roadway.

Emergencys ervices rushed out to the scene, but Simmons had succumbed to fatal injuries. No other injuries occurred.

At this time, police continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
