Linda McTague Killed in Alleged DUI Accident in Battle Creek, MI

Battle Creek, MI -- An alcohol-related crash in Battle Creek, MI claimed the life of 59-year-old Linda McTague Wednesday, May 31, 2017.

Based upon media reports, it appears Ms. McTague was on a motorcycle headed south on M-37 when she was struck by a vehicle pulling out from a private drive. Ms. McTague was killed at the scene of the incident.

Police say the driver of the car, who remains unidentified, claims he had not been drinking prior to the crash. According to the report, the man had a blood alcohol level of .127. The man claimed his friends provided him with the alcohol after the crash to calm his nerves.

He has since been arrested.

The investigation into the deadly crash is ongoing.
