Justin Gnas Killed in Allen Township, PA, Firetruck Accident

Allen Township, PA -- May 26, 2017, Justin Gnas suffered fatal injuries due to an accident in which his vehicle crashed head-on with firetruck.

According to reports released by emergency rescue officials, the incident occurred at around 7:15 a.m. near the intersection of Cherryville Road and Kohls Road.

Preliminary reports indicate that 24-year-old Gnas was traveling northbound along Cherryville. For reasons which police have yet to determine, his vehicle crossed paths with an oncoming Slatington Volunteer Fire truck which was on its way to be serviced. This resulted in a head-on collision.

EMS officials say that Gnas was critically injured in the collision. He was killed as a result. No other injuries were reported.

At this time, factors surrounding the accident are unclear. Investigations continue.
