Courtney Sims Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident in Houston, TX

Houston, TX -- Wednesday, May 30, 2017: A hit-and-run crash in Houston, Texas between a passenger vehicle and a pedestrian claimed the life 36-year-old Courtney Sims.

According to to early media reports, Mr. Sims was walking in the vicinity of 10300 Bissonet when he was hit by a truck. The truck that struck Mr. Sims was said to be "dark-colored" and headed west toward the Beltway.

Mr. Sims was taken to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries. He succumbed a short time later.

The investigation into the deadly hit-and-run incident is ongoing.

Police say they are seeking any information on the incident.

There was no further information provided by the report.
