Woman Injured in Corpus Christi, TX, DUI Accident on Tiger

Corpus Christi, TX -- May 19, 2017, a woman sustained injuries following an accident in which her vehicle crashed outside Mary Carroll High School.

The Corpus Christi Police Department was called out to the accident scene just after midnight. Mary Carroll High School is located off the intersection of Tiger Lane and Weber Road.

Preliminary accident reports indicate that the woman, whose identity wasn't released, was driving down the roadway in a red suburban. Police say the vehicle lost control and drove through an apartment parking lot before colliding into a parked vehicle. This caused the vehicle to spin out and crash through the fence surrounding Mary Carroll High.

Police say that the driver was transported to a nearby hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. She is also being charged with driving under the influence.
