One Injured in Lubbock, TX, Rollover Accident on 50th

Lubbock, TX -- May 29, 2017, one person sustained injuries as the result of an accident in which their vehicle somehow overturned on 50th Street.

Police investigators from the Lubbock Police Department reported that the single-vehicle accident took place at around 8:15 p.m. in the 500 block of 50th Street, just east of I-27.

Preliminary details released by investigators are still scarce at this time. Officials reported that an SUV was traveling along 50th at the time. somehow the vehicle lost control and overturned several times.

One person from the vehicle required transport to a nearby hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. It's unclear if another else was in the vehicle at the time.

Factors surrounding the accident are still unclear at the moment. Police say investigations are ongoing.
