Motorcyclist Injured in Midland, TX, Accident off Midland Dr.

Midland, TX -- May 26, 2017, a driver was injured as the result of an accident where a van collided with a motorcycle in a parking lot off Midland Drive.

Authorities from the Midland Police Department were called out to the scene of the accident at approximately 2:00 p.m. the incident tookplace in the parking lot of a Walmart located off the intersection of Midland Drive and Highway 250.

According to police investigators, both a motorcycle and a van were driving through the parking lot at the time of the accident. Their reports state that the driver of the van somehow failed to yield to the motorcycle, resulting in a collision that knocked the motorcyclist off the vehicle.

Emergency services transported the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the van was cited for the accident.
