Keven Gordon Killed in Houston, TX, Hit-and-run Accident

Houston, TX -- May 25, 2017, Keven Gordon was killed, Benigno Saenz was arrested, following a hit-and-run accident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

The Houston Police Department released details about the accident which they say happened Thursday night outside a Valero station located off of Winkler Drive.

According to video surveillance and witness testimony, Gordon was walking in the area of Winkler outside the gas station. As he was in Winkler, he entered the path of a pickup, allegedly driven by Saenz. The pickup slowed down momentarily before hitting the gas and running into Gordon.

Gordon was on the hood of the vehicle for a moment before the pickup's movement caused him to fall onto the roadway. The pickup then ran over Gordon, fatally injuring him. The pickup left the scene.

Investigations led police to Saenz who is currently under arrest with a charge of failure to stop and render aid. Additional charges have not been reported at this time.
