UPS Driver Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident on FM 548 near Dallas, TX

Dallas, TX -- A collision between a hit-and-run driver and a UPS driver claimed the life of an unidentified man Saturday, May 27, 2017.

The incident happened on FM 548.

It appears the UPS driver pulled onto the side of the highway for reasons unclear. The unnamed driver of the UPS truck stepped out of his vehicle, and within moments, was struck by a passing vehicle. The UPS driver involved in the incident was killed at the scene of the crash.

The investigation into the incident is currently underway.

The report made no mention of other injuries in the incident.

Police say they are seeking any information regarding the crash.
