Oil Tank Fire Kills One, and Injures Three in Greeley, CO

Greeley, CO -- An oil tank fire in the area of Greeley, CIO claimed the life of an unidentified worker and left three others with injuries Thursday, May 25, 2017.

According to the report, the Anadarko Petroleum Corporation tank was undergoing routing maintenance when it caught fire. One person was killed, three other contract workers were left with injuries; one serious and two moderate.

The media outlets covering the deadly incident have yet to release further information regarding the victims.

Further information may be forthcoming pending the official investigation into the incident.

The investigation into the fire remains open.
