Brittany Hayden Killed in Hingham, MA, Single-Vehicle Accident

Hingham, MA -- May 24, 2017, Brittany Hayden was killed following an accident in which her vehicle somehow crashed off the side of the highway.

The Massachusetts State Police Department reported on the fatal incident. Their reports say it took place just after 1:00 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 3 and Derby Street.

Investigators stated that 24-year-old Hayden was traveling northbound along the highway in a 2003 Volkswagen Jetta. For reasons not yet clear, the vehicle ran off the side of the highway, hit the guardrail and overturned into a wooded area.

Responding emergency personnel found Hayden in critical condition. She was taken to South Shore Hospital for treatment, but she eventually succumbed to fatal injuries.

Police have not yet determined the cause of the accident. No further information is currently available.
