Shirley Stebbins Killed, One Hurt in Accident in Wyoming, MI

Wyoming, MI -- A crash in the area of Wyoming, MI led to the death of 80-year-old Shirley Stebbins and left one injured Sunday, May 21, 2017.

Police say Ms. Stebbins was driving on 28th Street when her vehicle ran a red light. The vehicle then crashed into a northbound vehicle, leaving Ms. Stebbins hospitalized. She later succumbed to her injuries.

The driver of the second vehicle, an unidentified 86-year-old woman, was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. She was last listed in critical condition.

At the time of the report, officials had yet to determine the cause of the incident.

The investigation is ongoing.
