Clement Novitsky & Kevin C. Novitsky Killed, Roman Ketcham Injured in Accident in Frackville, PA

Frackville, PA -- A crash in the area of Frackville, PA led to the deaths of Clement and Kevin C. Novitsky, and left Roman Ketcham with injuries Wednesday, May 24, 2017.

The incident happened on Interstate 81 around 2:15 p.m.

According to the report, the Novitsky's vehicle was stopped for construction ahead on the interstate when for unclear reasons, a semi-truck crashed into the rear of their vehicle. The collision forced their vehicle into a second pickup, which then collided with the rear of a second semi.

The collision caused the first rig and the Novitsky's vehicle to burst into flames. The second pickup was also dragged by the second semi for several yards.

The collision both Novitsky's, father and son, ages 52 & 79, respectively, and injured 24-year-old Roman Ketcham, the driver of the pickup. The driver of the first semi, 45-year-old Brian Barrett, was uninjured in the collision.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
