Eddie Rodriguez, Blanca Rodriguez Killed in Fredericksburg, TX, Accident

Fredericksburg, TX -- April 20, 2017, Eddie and Blanca Rodriguez were killed following an accident where their vehicle overturned.

Details surrounding the fatal incident are still scarce at this time. DPS reports indicate that the accident happened just outside Fredericksburg along US Highway 87.

17-year-old Eddie Rodriguez and his wife 19-year-old Blanca Rodriguez were both in a vehicle traveling down the highway. For reasons which haven't been released, the vehicle somehow lost control and went off-road. This caused the vehicle to overturn.

As a result of the crash, both occupants were fatally injured and died. Police have not released any more information surrounding the incident.

It's very difficult to read about these accidents where such young victims lose their lives. What's worse is police haven't seemed to release very many details on this accident despite it happening over a month ago. It makes me wonder whether or not they've found the cause of the accident at all and if the family is as in the dark as the rest of us.

One thing I've learned over the years is that most police reports on single-vehicle accidents don't delve further than, "the vehicle lost control and crashed." That might tell us what happened, but it does nothing to clear up the "why" or the "how," the most important details. How are those affected expected to find any sort of closure if investigators aren't able to find out what happened in the accident?

This is why I always advocate that people gain the aid of a private investigator. Single-vehicle accidents can sometimes be caused by factors which are very rare and difficult to detect without the right experience or tools. Whereas police departments are rarely equipped with the resources necessary to finding these factors, private investigators are industry professionals with years of experience and state-of-the-art tools designed to find these kinds of factors.

Further investigations might uncover new information which is crucial to those affected, or perhaps it will simply confirm what police have already reported. The point here is getting any sense of closure to a time of immeasurable hardship. The first step on the path toward resolution is knowing all of the facts. A private investigation is the most effective way of achieving this.
