Amber Hale Killed in Accidental Fall from Billboard in Valdosta, GA

Valdosta, GA -- A work-related incident in the area of Valdosta, GA led to the death of 28-year-old Amber Hale Thursday, May 18, 2017.

Ms. Hale was reportedly doing maintenance on the billboard on Interstate 75 when for reasons unclear she fell. Officials have yet to determine the exact cause of the incident.

The report regarding the fall that led to Ms. Hale's death provided few details.

Representatives with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are currently investigating the incident in an effort to determine the cause.
