Charles C. Hounshell Killed in Accident in Orleans, IN

Orleans, IN -- A 73-year-old driver of a dump truck, Charles C. Hounshell, was killed in a collision with a building Tuesday, May 16, 2017.

The incident happened on State Road 37 around 12:30 p.m.

According to the report, the truck, loaded with gravel, was northbound on 37 when it veered off the road, colliding with the front of a building.

The incident claimed the life of 73-year-old Charles C. Hounshell.

It appears Mr. Hounshell was the sole occupant of the gravel truck.

There was no one in the building at the time of the crash, according to the report.

There was no further information provided by the preliminary press release.
