Man Injured in San Antonio, TX, Pedestrian Accident on Bandera

San Antonio, TX -- May 19, 2017, a man sustained injuries resulting from an accident where he was struck by a vehicle along Bandera Road.

San Antonio Police investigators responded to the accident scene at approximately 11:00 p.m. The collision took place near the intersection Bandera Road and Callaghan Road.

Preliminary police reports indicate that a man was attempting to cross the roadway at the time when an oncoming blue pickup failed to avoid him. The pickup collided into the pedestrian, throwing him onto the roadway.

The pedestrian was transported from the scene to University Hospital. His injuries were said to be serious.

Police did not report any charges or citations resulting from the accident. Investigations are ongoing.
