Jorge Otto Killed in Dallas, TX, Pedestrian Accident

Dallas, TX -- May 19, 2017, Jorge Otto suffered fatal injuries as the result of an accident where he was struck by a speeding vehicle.

Police investigators from the Dallas Police Department were called out to the scene of the accident Friday night near the intersection of Centerville Road and Jupiter Road.

According to surveillance footage that captured the fatal incident, 54-year-old Otto was walking along the side of Centerville at the time. As he did so, two speeding vehicles came toward him. One of them, a Ford Mustang, did not avoid Otto in time, striking and fatally injuring him.

Otto was transported to a local hospital where he later died. At this time, it's unclear if the drivers involved remained at the scene. No charges or citations have been reported.

Investigations continue.
