James W. Wilson, Lisa R. Wilson & Carol E. Wehking Killed, John F. Klapp and Christopher J. Klapp Hurt in Accident in Platte City, MO

Platte City, MO -- A four-vehicle crash in the area of Platte City, MO led to the deaths of James W. Wilson, Lisa R. Wilson and Carol E. Wehking ages, 54, 44 , and 75, respectively, and injured John F. Klapp and Christopher J. Klapp.

Police say the incident happened on Interstate 29 around 12:30 p.m.

The report alleges a GMC Envoy was stopped behind a semi-truck when it was crashed into by a Dodge pickup traveling around 70 mph. The collision crushed the GMC into the 18-wheeler.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilson, and Ms. Wehking, the occupants of the Envoy, were killed in the collision.

John F. Klapp sustained serious injuries. Christopher J. Klapp was left with minor injuries.

The official investigation into the incident is ongoing.
