Benjamin Levchuk Killed in Sweden, NY, ATV Accident

Sweden, NY -- May 17, 2017, Benjamin Levchuk was fatally injured following an accident in which an ATV crashed into a building.

Authorities from the Monroe County Sheriff's Department responded to the accident at around 11:45 a.m. The incident occurred at a city of Sweden structure with city employees.

According to preliminary details, 19-year-old Levchuk was with a co-worker when a lawn mower reportedly became stuck in a barn somehow. Levchuk went to retrieve an ATV to assist in moving the equipment. For reasons unclear, the ATV crashed into the side of the barn.

The collision somehow inflicted fatal injuries to Levchuk, who officials say died shortly after the accident. No other injuries occurred.

Authorities continue investigations into the incident.
