Morgan Lee Gaither Killed, One Hurt in Accident in Belgrade, MT

Belgrade, MT -- A crash in the area of Belgrade, Montana that led to the death of 22-year-old Morgan Lee Gaither was allegedly alcohol-related.

The incident took place on a rural road north of Belgrade a little after midnight.

Police officials say the woman was killed when a vehicle in which she was an occupant was struck head-on by a second vehicle driven by 23-year-old Lucas Keith Johnson. A second person was left injured in the crash.

The exact cause of the incident is yet to be determined, however, authorities say they believe the crash was alcohol-related.

Mr. Johnson has since been charged related to the collision.

The investigation remains open.
