Window Cleaner Killed in Work Accident at NYU Tech Building in Brooklyn, NY

Brooklyn, NY -- A work-related incident in the area of Brooklyn, NY claimed the life of an unidentified window cleaner Thursday, May 18, 2017.

The incident happened at Jay and Johnson Streets at an NYU tech building around 8 a.m.

According to police, the man was cleaning the windows when he fell from the scaffolding. Witness accounts claim the man was not wearing a harness at the time of the incident.

The exact cause of the incident is yet to be determined.

The official investigation into the incident is ongoing and may reveal more details as it concludes.
