4 Injured in Dallas, TX, Firetruck Accident on N Jim Miller

Dallas, TX -- May 18, 2017, four people were taken to hospitals after an accident in which a pickup, a car, and a firetruck collided on North Jim Miller.

Dallas emergency response teams were called out to the scene of the accident at around 11:00 a.m. It took place at the intersection of North Jim Miller Road and the westbound I-30 service road.

According to investigating authorities, a Dallas Fire Department truck was traveling northbound along Jim Miller as it was responding to an emergency call. As it crossed through the service road intersection, it somehow crossed paths with a pickup and collided. This collision sent the firetruck into the opposite lane where it collided with a Kia.

As a result of the two collisions, the drivers of both the Kia and the pickup, along with two of the firefighters involved, were transported to nearby hospitals. Exact conditions were not given, but injuries did not appear life-threatening.

It's unclear if any charges or citations resulted from the crash. Investigations are ongoing.
